Electrical Safety Inspections and Reports
What We Do:
Electrical Safety Inspections provide the basic framework for us to look at the basic and more complex electrical components within a property, to be able to confirm if wiring, switchboards, fixtures and permanently installed appliances are in good working order and up to current standards.
What we look at:
Items are inclusive but not limited to:
- Light fixtures
- Switches
- Power points
- Wiring throughout the property
- Internal and external fixtures
- Switchboard & safety switches
- Smoke Alarms
- Heating and cooling fixtures (electrical only)
- Electrical earth
- Test and change smoke alarm batteries
What we include:
Within 48 hours of conducting the inspection we will provide you/your property manager with:
- A detailed report going from room to room
- Photographs from the inspection
- Detailed summary of findings with commendations
- Quote/s for recommended work
- Smoke Alarm Compliance certificate (if applicable)
- *Optional updated report once quoted work has been completed by us
We strictly abide by the Energy Safety (General) Regulations and AS/NZS3000, and provide the information detailed as per Residential Tenancies Act 1997, Residential Tenancies Amendment Act 208 No. 45 of 2018, Section 68A and 68B, Residential Tenancies Regulations 2021 (S.R. No. 3/2021, Regulation 13.1.1, 13.3, 13.5.1, 13.5.3, 13.9, 13.14)
